David A. Sexton is a designer of theater, opera, and live events based in the Brooklyn, NY. He has worked with The Wooster Group, The Public, Signature Theatre Company, MCC Theater, Atlantic Theater Company, GroundUp Productions, The New Ohio, F*It Club, Roundabout Underground, AMDA. On Broadway he's assisted Ben Stanton on Fun Home and David Weiner on David Leveaux's revival of Romeo and Juliet. Regionally he's worked with A.R.T., Canada Stage, The Kennedy Center, Two River Theater Company, Quintessence Theater Group, Cortland Repertory Theater, Park Playhouse, Ocean State Theater Company, 1st Stage Tysons, BIG Arts Herb Strauss Theater. Internationally he's worked with the Abbey Theatre Company in Ireland adapting shows to tour North America. 

He is the winner of the 2015 SALT award for his work on Cortland Rep's The Adam's Family and the winner of the 2012 New York Innovate Theater Award for F*It Club's Spring Fling: My Best/Worst Date Ever.

David is a graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
